About an hour after returning the car, I realized I had forgotten it and immediately contacted the Nissan staff via KakaoTalk. They said there was no tumbler in the car but promised to check again the next day.

After I returned to Korea, I followed up again. The staff claimed they didn’t find anything during the car cleaning. Even though I told them the exact location where I had left the tumbler, they still insisted it wasn't there. At that point, I felt they had no intention of returning it.

Lost items must be a common issue for rental car companies, but the careless attitude of the Nissan staff completely ruined what had been a great trip to Guam. If a friend ever asks me about renting a car in Guam, I would absolutely tell them to avoid Nissan Rent-A-Car.

Losing integrity over a 100,000 KRW tumbler — the Nissan staff was truly disappointing.

#197061Sentra This was my 12th time renting a car in Guam, and I’ve always used Nissan Rent-A-Car.
I’ve driven various models like the Cube, Rogue, Altima, Sentra, and Kicks.

Back in the day, if you rented for more than 4 days, they used to give you a full tank of gas as a service — you could return the car without refueling, which was super convenient. It’s a bit unfortunate that they don’t offer that anymore. ^^

Overall, this time was great too, but I did have a moment where a cockroach appeared in the car. I actually thought about going to the airport to change cars, but after I caught it, no more showed up, so I just kept the car.

It would be great if they could pay a bit more attention to disinfection and cleaning inside the vehicles.

#197005Versa Back in 2019 before COVID, I went to Guam and found the line at Nissan Rent-A-Car too long, so I used Alamo or Dollar instead, which had shorter wait times.
But this time, after 6 years, I used Nissan Rent-A-Car again and the process was much faster and more efficient—very satisfying.
I think I’ll continue using them from now on. It’s definitely been upgraded!

The car was a newer model with only about 10,000 miles on it, and came with extras like a Wi-Fi egg (an absolute must-have, especially in areas with poor phone signal^^), beach chairs, and more—everything was excellent.

The 10% discount coupon for jet skiing was especially great!
I booked directly with the provider using the coupon, and it was cheaper than any online booking site.

#197172Versa This was my 6th visit to Guam. Except for my first trip when I used a Korean rental company, I’ve always chosen Nissan Rent-A-Car.
In the past, I typically rented for 3 or more days with airport pickup and return, but this time I rented for just 2 days with city pickup and drop-off — and as expected, it was still very convenient.

Even before booking, the KakaoTalk consultation was always prompt and helpful. When I arrived in Guam, the staff came to the hotel lobby right on time, guided me comfortably to the office, and I received the car smoothly.

The only inconvenience was that the side mirror on the driver’s side had a pretty large blind spot, which made driving a bit uncomfortable.
It would be great if the mirrors could be checked and adjusted more thoroughly so that driving can feel safer and easier.

Overall, it was a great experience, and next time I visit Guam, I’ll choose Nissan again without hesitation.
