2. Guam Legal Provisions for Baby Seats and Boosters
Section 30-33 of the General Guam Law: The January 1, 2010, Amendment Act requires that all vehicles carrying children and infants under 12 years of age must have a baby seat and a booster seat installed. Children under 4 years old must be protected by baby seats under the revised law, and children under 4 years old and younger than 11 years old must be protected by booster seats.

This was my 8th visit to Guam and also my 8th time using Nissan Rent-A-Car — that's how convenient and great their service is :) 2025-12-01 21:51 First of all, the pick-up and drop-off at the airport are very convenient.
Since my child is in elementary school, we use a cheap mobile plan with almost no data,
but they lent us a portable Wi-Fi (egg) for free, and even upgraded our car — it was amazing!
Thanks to that, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable trip this time too

Since we had an early-morning arrival and departure, being able to pick up and return the car directly at the airport was incredibly convenient. 2025-11-28 10:38 Taxi fares in Guam are quite high, so renting a car actually felt more affordable. The vehicle was clean and in great condition, and the staff were very kind — there really wasn’t anything lacking.
Thanks to Click Travel Agency, we had a wonderful time in Guam.

On the last day, I returned the rental car but accidentally left behind a tumbler I had purchased that very day. About an hour after returning the car, I realized I had forgotten it and immediately contacted the Nissan staff via KakaoTalk. They said there was no tumbler in the car but promised to check again the next day. 2025-11-24 15:30 After I returned to Korea, I followed up again. The staff claimed they didn’t find anything during the car cleaning. Even though I told them the exact location where I had left the tumbler, they still insisted it wasn't there. At that point, I felt they had no intention of returning it.
Lost items must be a common issue for rental car companies, but the careless attitude of the Nissan staff completely ruined what had been a great trip to Guam. If a friend ever asks me about renting a car in Guam, I would absolutely tell them to avoid Nissan Rent-A-Car.
Losing integrity over a 100,000 KRW tumbler — the Nissan staff was truly disappointing.

This was my 12th time renting a car in Guam, and I’ve always used Nissan Rent-A-Car. 2025-11-24 10:05 I’ve driven various models like the Cube, Rogue, Altima, Sentra, and Kicks.
Back in the day, if you rented for more than 4 days, they used to give you a full tank of gas as a service — you could return the car without refueling, which was super convenient. It’s a bit unfortunate that they don’t offer that anymore. ^^
Overall, this time was great too, but I did have a moment where a cockroach appeared in the car. I actually thought about going to the airport to change cars, but after I caught it, no more showed up, so I just kept the car.
It would be great if they could pay a bit more attention to disinfection and cleaning inside the vehicles.

I saw some reviews mentioning dirty seats and even cockroaches, so I was a bit worried when I made the reservation. 2025-11-18 12:48 But when I actually got there, the interior was spotless — it looked like the seats had just been freshly cleaned.
Everything was very tidy, and I had a pleasant trip.
Plus, thanks to a promotional event, I received a free vehicle upgrade, which made the experience even better!

They upgraded my car, and it was really comfortable to drive. 2025-10-18 12:08 They picked me up at my hotel, took me to the Plaza Hotel to complete the paperwork, and I received the car there.
I returned it at the airport with no extra charges — everything went smoothly.
It was my first trip to Guam, and I wasn’t sure whether to rent a car, but since it was hot and humid, it was tough to walk even short distances with a child, and taxis were expensive. Having a rental car made everything so much easier.
Next time, I plan to rent a car right from the airport!
